The house and gardens are tranquil and uplifting with views across natural sand dunes to the sea. The dunes are now designated a nature preservation area and have a variety of bird life, native wild flowers and maritime pines. The Mediterranean Sea is just 200 metres from the garden gate. There is a choice of good local beach restaurants and chiringuitos with views across the Mediterranean to Gibraltar and the Riff Mountains of Morocco.
'Casa Madden' is conveniently situated half way between Marbella, just 10 minutes away and Fuengirola. 5 minutes walk from Cabopino, the local delightful small yacht marina with many good restaurants and large sandy beach with water sports and sheltered bay for swimming. The exclusive Puerto Banus yacht marina is just 20 minutes drive.
There is a good local bus service, ideal for local sightseeing or travel further afield. Malaga airport is a 35 minute drive. There is an excellent bus service from the airport direct to Marbella. Also a good rail link from the airport to Fuengirola. Airport collection and delivery available on request, price 100 euros. Gibraltar is a 45 minute drive, where you can also take a Dolphin Safari.

'Casa Madden' has recently been completely refurbished.
Choose between the self contained twin bedded patio room, breakfast provided on request, if desired, and the 1 bedroom self contained, self catering Garden Cottage. The rooms have their own private main entrance with ample on street parking. They are entered via a traditional Andalusia Patio with fountain. Both are private, peaceful and delightfully furnished.
The 1 bedroom Garden Cottage has twin beds or large double, as required. There is a separate bathroom with walk in shower, kitchen and glazed sun lounge with views of garden and dunes and own private sun terrace. Washing machine, hair dryer, music system, Internet and Sky satellite TV. Hot and cold air conditioning.
The Patio Room has two single beds, walk in shower room, separate WC. A bar fridge, kettle and tea/coffee facilities and Sky satellite TV. Hot and cold air conditioning. It has it's own breakfast table in the traditional patio.

Notes on Prices
A 20% non refundable deposit is taken at time of booking. The balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. Payment by UK bank transfer or personal cheque.
There are discounts for longer stays & sunny breaks during the winter months, please email or phone with enquiries.
A put up bed in the Garden Cottage is available for 10 euro per night.
Continental Breakfast - 6 euros, Full Breakfast - 9 euros, Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice 2.50 euros.
Beach mats, towels and parasols for hire at 5 euro per day.
Changeover Day
Changeover day is flexible. An approximate time of arrival if known, would be appreciated. At busy times, a 12 midday checkout and 3 p.m. arrival to allow for cleaning. Luggage can be safely stored. There is a late departure charge of 26 euro if you would like to hold your room.
